Thanks to the efforts of the Innocence Project of Florida, Dean was finally able to clear his name and walk out of prison in January 2018. He had not known freedom since he was 16 years old. Since then, he has channeled his experiences into an amazing new venture - a tattoo shop called Inside Ink Tattoo Studio. The name of the shop is a testament to the resilience it took for Dean to survive his time in prison, where he learned art and tattooing, and his strength in turning his life around after such a difficult experience.
